Service Description
This 5 week course with Eleonore Griveau begins a person working with handbuilding. Structured for those that have never used clay or those just starting out, the class provides instruction in several topics of construction and ending with glazing of the work. Small scale projects as well as large works can be made during this class. The only limit is your imagination! In this class, we will explore things such as - Wedging and clay preparation - Coil, Slab, Extruded, and slump molded forms - Additional handbuilding methods - surface decorating with engobes - Finishing of work with decoration - Glazing of work and firing This class runs each week on the same day for 5 weeks.
