Pottery wheel- Week end course- Candle Holders (Beginner)

Throw small forms on the wheel and transform them into candle holders by altering, carving, or adding hand-built details. A fun and creative introduction to functional design on the wheel.

Discover the joy of throwing on the potter’s wheel over a focused weekend workshop.
Each course runs across two sessions (Saturday & Sunday), giving you time to learn, practice, and finish your own ceramic pieces under guidance.

Every weekend has a different theme — from candle holders, plates and  jugs — so you can join more than once and explore new techniques each time.

All levels are welcome, and the small group of up to 8 participants ensures plenty of individual attention.
At the end of the course, you’ll choose your preferred glaze, which we’ll apply and fire for you — your finished pieces will be ready for collection a few weeks later.

• Duration: 2 sessions (Saturday & Sunday, 3 hours each)

• Level: Beginner to entry level

• Included: Clay, tools, firings, and glazing service

• Participants can keep a limited number of finished pieces (varies by theme)

• You choose your glaze, and we apply it for you

• Minimum 3 participants required for the course to run

• Maximum 8 participants per group
