Welcome to Our One-Evening Ceramic Workshop!

Whether you're completely new to ceramics or simply looking for a creative evening, this workshop is a chance to relax, explore clay, and make something uniquely yours in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

During the evening, you'll discover the fundamentals of ceramic hand-building through guided demonstrations and plenty of hands-on practice.

You'll:

• Explore three essential hand-building techniques: pinch pots, coiling, and slab building.

• Experiment with texture and relief using carving, engraving, and slip trailing.

• Decorate your work with coloured slips and underglazes, while discovering techniques such as sgraffito and Mishima.

You can create up to three pieces. Whether you'd like to make a mug, a vase, jewellery, a small sculpture, or something entirely your own, all ideas are welcome.

After the workshop, we'll carefully dry, glaze, and fire your work twice. All finished pieces are coated with a food-safe transparent glaze.

Collecting Your Creations

Your ceramics are usually ready 2–6 weeks after the workshop, once they have completely dried and completed both firings.

We do not send email notifications. Instead, please visit the "Collect Your Creations" page on our website to check the latest pickup dates and opening hours.

As storage space is limited, we keep finished work for up to 6 months after it is ready for collection.

If you enjoyed the workshop, we'd love to welcome you to one of our 5-week hand-building courses, where you'll have more time to develop your skills and explore the possibilities of clay.
